Mayaghar: At a Glance

The 'Mayaghar', which has been brought into operation by the Forum for Women and Child Development, is next home to give shelter to the helpless and orphan children. It is the platform where the children in vulnerable situation are searching their future and exploring happiness. It was incepted in Rabibhawan in Magh 20, 2068. Currently 15 children belonging to different parts of the country are taking shelter in the Mayaghar.

The objectives of the Mayaghar are following.

Arrange proper caring, rearing and educational facilities to children who are already in street or likely to come down to street.

Work to protect the existence of the children who have no social identity

Work for the protection of rights of orphaned children or those who are deprived of proper caring from families.

Contribute to produce creative and competent human resource who could give contribution to the entire humanity

It has set its target to provide education to the children sheltered in the Mayaghar up to the higher level or get them into technical education in the subject of their choice, if any donor is ready to finance. The main purpose is to make them qualified human resource and get them back to their village so that they could work in their birthplace. Likewise, the Mayaghar will explore the areas for job opportunities to the products as per their skills and knowledge.
